HUMILITY

ROMANS 10:13
“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”.

WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
This verse is about the straightest path to God.
It says that salvation is neither complicated nor closed; it is accessible to everyone, not through formality, but through a person's real turning to God.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
“Everyone” — there are no limitations. This applies to anyone, regardless of their past, state, or level of “rightness”.
“Who calls” — this is not about words, but about inner addressing and making a decision. This is the moment when a person stops relying solely on themselves and turns to God as their only support.
“The name of the Lord” is not an abstraction or formula, but God Himself. To call upon Him means to turn to Him as a reality, not as an idea.
“Will be saved” — this is about restoration: forgiveness, liberation from inner burdens, and the beginning of a new life with God. Salvation becomes real when a person truly turns to God and begins to rely on Him.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
People often think they need to change first, become better, figure things out on their own. But this verse shows the opposite: we need to start not with ourselves, but with God. As long as a person relies only on themselves, they remain in the same state. Change begins the moment they turn to God.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
• Do not put off turning to God.
• Do not wait until you “become better”.
• Turn to God in repentance.
• Admit that you cannot be saved on your own.
CONCLUSION
Salvation is not earned; it is given to those who turn to God.
FINAL THOUGHT
The most important step is not simply becoming different, but sincerely turning to the One who can do everything.
PRAYER
Lord, I understand that I cannot solve everything in my life on my own. I turn to You. Forgive me, purify and save me. I do not want to rely only on myself anymore. Help me. Amen.
