LOVE

JEREMIAH 29:11
“For only I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, the plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope”.

WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
God said these words to people in captivity. They felt forgotten, punished, and lost their purpose in life. But God, through the prophet Jeremiah, says, “I have not abandoned you. My plan has not been thwarted”. This verse is a reminder to anyone going through pain: even when it seems that everything is falling apart, God is still near, still at work, still leading toward good.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
1. God always acts with love, even when we do not understand how.
It may seem that life is unfair to us, that God keeps silent. But He is not inactive – He is creating what we cannot yet see. Every trial can become a step toward good if we trust Him.
2. God does not deprive us of freedom, but guides us along the right path.
Each person has a choice, and we can follow different paths. But God, as a loving Father, tries to protect us from mistakes, to prompt us, to stop us at the right time. He does not control us like puppets, but He helps us if we allow Him to help.
3. God's love is a guarantee of hope.
Even if everything is lost, God does not recede. His promises are not empty words. If He says He is leading us to good, then He will lead us. His love is constancy when everything else changes.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Because in this world, it is too easy to lose hope and faith. We sometimes make grand plans, but our dreams become shattered, and everything seems to be in vain. But God says, “I see beyond you. I know where I am leading you”.
And in this confidence lies peace – the understanding that you are not alone, that there is the loving God is acting behind the scenes of your life.
CONCLUSION
God does not just know the future – He cares for it. He does not leave when things are difficult, He does not rebuke or punish without reason, He does not forget. He is near, even when you do not feel it. And if you hold on to Him, even in the darkness, there will surely be light ahead.
FINAL THOUGHT
God's plans are not ruined by your mistakes. God can turn losses into a new beginning and pain into a source of growth. If He promised hope, then it exists, even if it is not visible right now.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
1. Stop fearing the unknown.
Believe: “God knows where He leads”. Even if the path is unclear, keep going.
2. Replace anxiety with trust.
Every time you feel that you want to control everything yourself, remind yourself: “God is faithful. I can rely on Him”.
3. Ask God not for explanations of events, but for peace in your heart.
Sometimes the answer comes not in words, but in the inner peace. Pray not to understand, but to trust.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for being faithful to Your promises.
Sometimes I do not understand why things happen the way they do. I feel scared, anxious, hurt, and lonely. But today, I choose to believe that Your plans are good, even if I do not see or understand it now. Help me not to lose hope and faith, to trust You when the path is unclear, and to remember that You never abandon me. May Your love be my anchor, and may my faith be the light that guides me through the darkness. I desire so much for You to always be close, because I cannot live without You. Amen.
