EPHESIANS 1:19
“And His incomparably great power for us who believe; that power is the same as His mighty strength”.

WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
The Apostle Paul prays that believers would not simply know about God, but understand the power God uses to act in their lives.
He is not speaking about human strength, not about the strength of character, will, or capabilities. He is speaking about God's power. Moreover, Paul emphasizes that this is not a small help from God, but “His incomparably great power”. That is, the power God uses to act in the life of a believer is far greater than man is able to imagine.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
God wants people to stop looking only at their limitations. Very often, we evaluate situations through our own abilities: “I cannot handle it”, “I am too weak and tired”, “I cannot change”, “I do not have the strength”.
But Paul shifts the focus from man to God. He reminds us that God is capable of doing what is impossible for us. The same power with which God raised Christ from the dead (as Paul speaks of in the following verses) acts in the lives of believers.
This does not mean that people become strong on their own. It means that they are no longer alone with their weakness.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Because many believers live as if everything depends on them alone.
They try to change on their own, overcome sin on their own, go through difficulties on their own. And sooner or later, they face their own powerlessness. Paul reminds us that the Christian life is built not on the human strength, but on God's. When a person understands this, despair is replaced by hope, and constant struggle in solitude is replaced by trust in God.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
1. If there is a situation that seems beyond your strength, bring it to God and stop bearing it alone.
2 When you face your weakness, do not despair, but remind yourself that God's power is greater than your limitations.
3. Begin your day with praying that God would act through you, not just through your own capabilities.
CONCLUSION
God does not simply call people to follow Him. He gives them strength for this journey.
That is why the believer's hope lies not in their own abilities, but in the power of God who acts in them.
FINAL THOUGHT
The greatest obstacle to God's power is not human weakness. The greatest obstacle is man’s trying to live as if he can handle everything on his own. It is exactly where man admits his powerlessness that God's power begins to manifest itself most clearly.
PRAYER
Lord, forgive me... I often look at my capabilities and see how much I cannot do. But thank You that my life does not depend on my own strength. Help me trust Your power more than my weakness. Where I am powerless, You act. Where I lack wisdom, strength, or patience, uphold me with Your hand. I do not want to walk along this path of life alone. I need You. Amen.
