WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT? Jesus spoke these words to Jairus, the ruler of a synagogue, when the latter learned that his daughter had died. At that moment, Jairus' entire world collapsed. It seemed that everything was over. But Jesus looked at him and said, “Do not be afraid, just believe”. These are the words God speaks to each of us in the times of pain, loss, and despair. When it seems that it is too late, that there is no way out, Christ says, “Do not be afraid, I am near. Everything is in My hands”. WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE? 1. Faith is stronger than fear. God knows that fear paralyzes one’s heart and deprives one of hope. Therefore, He teaches us to look not at the circumstances, but at Him. 2. Even when everything seems to be lost, I still act. God is never late. He comes and acts at the right time – in His own time. 3. True faith is trust in darkness and trials. Faith is not when everything is clear, but when there are no guarantees except God's word. WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? Because it is fear that most often deprives man of God's miracle. Faith does not always change a situation instantly, but it changes one’s heart. And a changed heart sees how God makes the impossible possible. CONCLUSION These words are an invitation to trust. Even when life and circumstances whisper, “Impossible”, God says, “Believe”. When fear wants to control, faith says, “God is with me”. This is the path where miracles become part of thhe reality. FINAL THOUGHT God does not require great deeds from you – only faith. Even if it is as small as a mustard seed, with it you will see God's glory. HOW TO USE IT TODAY 1. When you are scared, stop and say out loud: “I'm not afraid, I believe”. 2. Do not rush to look for proof – seek God's presence. 3. Remember times when God has already helped you. This will strengthen your faith today. PRAYER God, when I feel lost and see no way out, when fear paralyzes me and everything seems to be falling apart – remind me that You are near. Grant me a faith that is stronger than panic and a stillness of heart that hears Your voice amidst the noise. Teach me to hold on to Your word, even when my eyes see darkness. Let my mind not seek explanations, but simply trust. You are my light in the night, my calmness in the storm, my answer when there are no answers. I choose to believe. Lord, strengthen my faith. Amen.
