LOVE

ISAIAH 49:15
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast? Though she may forget, I will not forget you”.

WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
These are God's words to people who felt abandoned. They felt as if God had forgotten them, that they were no longer important to Him. In response, the Lord uses the most powerful human image – a mother's love for a baby.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
A mother's love is one of the most natural and powerful forms of affection. A mother does not forget her baby because it is a part of her. God says: even if we imagine the impossible – that a mother would forget her child – I will not forget you. This is not just a consolation. It is an affirmation of God's fidelity. When you feel loneliness, rejection, or silence from God, this verse reminds you: God's memory of you is not dependent on your feelings.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
People often experience the fear of being forgotten: in family, in society, even before God. Sometimes, in difficult situations, it seems that God is far away. But Scripture says: the absence of visible answers does not equal the absence of God's care.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
• At moments of loneliness, remind yourself of this truth.
• Do not measure God's love by your feelings.
• Entrust Him with your condition – He remembers you.
CONCLUSION
God's fidelity and love are stronger than human love.
He remembers, sees, and protects even when you do not feel it.
FINAL THOUGHT
God does not forget on a whim. He does not turn away because of human weakness. His love is not a flash of emotions, but a permanent decision to be faithful. And if you feel forgotten, remember: you remain in God's heart.
PRAYER
Lord, I thank You that Your love can never be compared to anything or anyone.
And even if sometimes it seems to me that I am forgotten and alone, remind me of Your word. You know me and see my heart. Help me abide in You, to be filled with this Love and share it with others. Amen.
