GRATITUDE

1 TIMOTHY 4:4
“For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving”.

WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
The Apostle Paul says that everything God created has value and goodness. But true goodness is revealed when we accept His gifts with a grateful heart.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
1. The world is God's creation.
Everything that surrounds you – food, nature, people, relationships, opportunities – is not an accident, but God's design. God created everything good.
2. The problem is not in things, but in the human heart.
Creation only becomes evil when people use it incorrectly: with greed, selfishness, deception, or without gratitude.
3. The power of gratitude reveals the value of a gift.
When you thank God for the smallest things – a piece of bread, a morning, a meeting, breathing – joy and God's grace begin to manifest in your life.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
We often complain, compare, and feel dissatisfied. But grumbling closes the heart, while gratitude opens it to God's love. This verse teaches us to stop dividing life into the “holy” and the “ordinary” – everything that comes from God is already holy.
CONCLUSION
What makes us happy is not things, but the state of our hearts. With gratitude, even the simplest things become miracles.
FINAL THOUGHT
God wants us to live not in grumbling, but in thanksgiving. When we accept everything as a gift, we learn to see God's hand in everyday life and become truly free and joyful people.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
• Start your day with three simple words: "Thank You, Lord."
• Before eating, remember that this is not only your work, but also God's gift. Try to always thank God before eating.
• Notice small joys of the day and say “thank You” to God out loud.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for everything You have created. Forgive me for often taking Your gifts for granted. Teach me to thank You not only in the great things, but also in the simple ones. Grant me a heart that sees Your love and hand in every day and feels joy in even the smallest things. Bless me to live not in grumbling and discontent, but in gratitude. Amen.
