PROVERBS 21:31
“The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord”.

WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
This verse speaks of the combination of human responsibility and God's superiority. People must prepare, work, and plan, but the final outcome always depends on God.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
1. We are responsible for preparation.
A person must do his or her part: work, plan, prepare, study, and train.
2. The result is in God's hands.
No matter how carefully we prepare, the outcome depends not on our efforts, but on the Lord. Victory comes from Him and His will.
3. Hope must be in God, not in means.
People can rely on money, connections, experience, or their own strength. But all of this is just “ a horse”. True success and protection come from God.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Many people live as if everything depends on them alone. This leads to pride or despair. But understanding that God is the source of victory provides balance: we do our part, but trust Him with the outcome. He knows what is best for us.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
• Do your best, but do not rely solely on your own efforts.
• Before important tasks, pray and ask for God's guidance and direction.
• Learn to thank God for every result, understanding that it is His grace and will.
CONCLUSION
Man prepares, but only God grants victory. Success in life comes not from the effort alone, but from being aligned with God's will.
FINAL THOUGHT
True peace and confidence come when we do our part well, but give our hearts to God. After all, it is in Him where that the source of victory, peace, and confidence lies.
PRAYER
Lord, teach me to work diligently and prepare responsibly, but always remember that victory comes from You.
Help me not to rely on my own strength and resources more than on Your will.
Give me a heart that trusts You in every battle of life, knowing that You are my Protector and Victor. Amen.
