WISDOM

EXODUS 3:14
“God said to Moses, ‘I am Who I am’”.

WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
Moses asks God, “Who are You? What shall I call You?”
And God answers not with a name in the usual sense, but says, "I am Who I am."
This is not just an answer — it is a revelation of who God truly is.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
1. God is the One Who simply is. Everything in the world depends on something: circumstances, time, people.
God is not. He does not change or disappear. He is the foundation and source, not a part of the world. He is the beginning and end of everything.
2. God is the source. We receive everything: strength, life, opportunities... God gives. Everything begins with Him. And everyone, and everything, is subject to Him.
3. God is not an idea, but a reality. This is not a philosophy or an image. God says, “I am” here and now, in real life.
4. Life must be built on Him. People seek support in people, money, stability.
But all of this changes. God is the only One who remains unchanging and eternal.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
When a person builds their life on something that can disappear, they inevitably lose their support.
This verse reveals: there is One on Whom one can truly rely.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
1. Ask yourself: what is my life based on?
2. Notice what provides temporary support and what provides true support.
3. Begin to seek God as a reality and a Person, not just an idea.
4. Learn to trust Him in everything.
CONCLUSION
God is not just a part of life. He is its foundation and meaning.
FINAL THOUGHT
Everything in life can change. But there is One Who says, “I am”. And if you rely on Him, the meaning of life will never disappear.
PRAYER
Lord, You are Who You are, You are the Beginning and the End, You are the Meaning and the Source. Help me stop relying on what is temporary and perishable. Teach me to build my life on You and entrust every step of mine to You. Amen.
