EPHESIANS 3:19
“…and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God”.
WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
This is the Apostle Paul's prayer for people. He speaks of what the love of Christ is, which cannot be fully understood by reason, but can be experienced in life.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
1. There is a kind of love that cannot be “simply understood”. We are used to explaining everything with logic. But here it says: God's love is greater than can be explained. It cannot be fully understood; it can only be experienced.
2. “To know” means not only to learn, but to experience. This is not about theory, not about knowledge of facts, not about religious words, but about personal experience: when a person truly feels loved.
3. This love changes a person from the inside.
When a person encounters such love:
— inner emptiness disappears;
— confidence appears;
— the attitude towards oneself and towards others people changes.
4. “Be filled with all the fullness of God” is about the inner life. This means that what a person previously tried to find outside of themselves appears within: peace, meaning, value, happiness.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Many people live with the feeling that something is missing. They try to fill it with achievements, relationships, experiences. But inside, they still feel empty.
This verse says: what a person seeks is not connected with things, but with the love of God.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
1. Stop looking for fulfillment only in external things.
2. Open yourself to the idea that God truly loves.
3. Turn to God not formally, but sincerely.
4. Allow yourself to experience this love, and not just think about it.
CONCLUSION
True fullness of life comes through experiencing God's love.
FINAL THOUGHT
A person can understand a lot, but remain empty inside. But when he encounters a love that is beyond his understanding, he becomes fulfilled.
PRAYER
Lord, I have often heard the expression, “God is love”. I want it so much to experience this love in my life. Although my mind may not fully understand everything, I believe that You alone are the source and meaning of everything. Amen.
