GALATIANS 5:25
“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit”.
WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
This verse is about the integrity of life.
It is about how, if a person calls themselves a believer and says their life is connected to God, this should be evident not only in their words but also in their actions.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
"Since we live by the Spirit" refers to man receiving new life from God. This is not just “I believe”, but an internal change (a new birth from above): understanding, sensitivity to truth, and a desire to live correctly emerge.
“Let us keep in step with the Spirit” is a logical continuation. If there is direction from God inside, then our external actions must also correspond to that.
The meaning is very clear: we cannot live one life internally and another externally.
If a person says they are with God, but their decisions, words, and behavior go in the opposite direction, this is a contradiction. And God says: life must align with what you believe.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
The main problem is separation: a person can believe but not change their life, understand but not apply, know but not act.
And a gap arises: one thing inside, another is outside.
This verse shows: true faith always manifests itself in actions. Not because “I have to”, but because it is a natural continuation of what is inside.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
• Check if your life aligns with what you believe.
• Do not leave faith only in thoughts and feelings.
• Look at your decisions, words, and actions.
• Do not justify the gap between “I know” and “I do”.
If it is truly important to you, it will be seen in your life.
CONCLUSION
Faith cannot remain only inside; it always manifests externally.
FINAL THOUGHT
One can say the right things, but the real picture is in their actions.
It is there where we can see how they truly live.
PRAYER
Lord, I see that sometimes in my life there is a gap between what I believe and how I live. Forgive me for this. Help me to be a person of integrity. Teach me to live so that my actions are in line with the truth. Give me the strength not just to understand, but to apply. Guide my life so that it is authentic, not merely formal. Help me to act as You would act and to always remain faithful to You. Amen.
