FAITH

MARK 4:25
“For whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them”.

WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
Jesus spoke these words after the parable about the sower and the light. He was speaking of how people received and used what God gave them – knowledge, gifts, truth, faith. This verse is not about material riches, but about the inner riches of the heart. Those who are open, who accept God's Word, reflect on it, and live by it, will receive even more light and understanding. But those who are indifferent, who hear but do not apply, will eventually lose even what little they have.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
1. Appreciate what I have already given. Even if it is a small amount of faith, a small amount of knowledge – start using it, and God will increase it.
2. Truth only grows through action.
If a person hears but does not live by the Truth, it gradually fades within him or her.
3. God seeks a heart that not only listens, but accepts. Those who are open to Him will never remain the same; God will always give more light, more understanding, more life.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Because faith never stands still: it either grows or weakens. God does not give us the Truth simply to know it, but so that it transforms us. When a person lives by God's words, their heart becomes capable of accepting more and more. But indifference makes one’s soul dead and incapable of learning the Truth.
CONCLUSION
This verse is about spiritual responsibility. Whatever God has entrusted to you – understanding, kindness, faith, love – do not keep it to yourself. Multiply it, share it, live by it. That way, God will give you even more.
FINAL THOUGHT
When a person values what God has given them, even the small becomes great. But when they do not value it, the great loses its meaning.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
1. Think about what God has already placed within you – what gift, understanding, revelation.
2. Start putting this into action: support someone, share kindness, your word, your faith.
3. Be grateful for what you have instead of complaining about what you do not have.
PRAYER
Lord, help me appreciate what You have given me. Not to be deaf to Your voice, not to hide the goodness You have sown in my heart. Teach me not just to hear, but to live by Your Word. May my faith grow and my heart remain open to receive all the new things You wish to give. Amen.
