WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
This is Jeremiah's prayer at a time when external circumstances say one thing, and God says something else. He finds himself in a situation where everything seems hopeless, but he lifts his gaze to the One Who is above any situation.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
God reveals himself as the One Who is the source of everything. “You Who have made the heavens and the earth” is a reminder that everything that exists has its origin in Him. If He created everything, then there is nothing
that is beyond His power.
“By Your great power and by Your outstretched arm” is an image not simply of a force, but of an active force. Not only can God do, He does.
“Nothing is too hard for You” — this is the key thought. The limitations that man sees are not limitations for God. What seems closed remains open to Him. Jeremiah speaks of this not as of a theory, but as of a foundation for trust: if God is like this, then even in the impossible there remains possibility.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Man always looks beyond boundaries: what is real, what is possible, and what is not. And often concludes, “This cannot be changed”. But this verse shows that human limitations are not equal to God's.
And if we rely only on what is visible, we can miss what God is capable of doing.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
• Reconsider where you have set the full stop, but God has not yet.
• Do not limit God to your understanding of the situation.
• Learn to look beyond the circumstances.
• Trust God and show patience and faith where there is no answer.

What is impossible for man is not impossible for God.
FINAL THOUGHT
The greatest limitation lies not in circumstances, but in how a person views them. And when one’s gaze rises higher, there appears room for what previously seemed impossible.

Lord, You are the Creator of everything, and nothing is impossible for You. Help me not limit You
with my understanding. Teach me to trust You even where I see no way out. Teach me patience and faith. Reveal Your power and glory in my situation. Amen.
