WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
Jesus tells people not simply about physical death, but about the eternal life of the soul. He promises that those who trust Him and live according to His word – that is, in truth, love, light, and obedience to God – will not experience separation from God, and therefore will not experience death in its most terrible sense. This is not about the body, but about life that never ends because it is rooted in the Source – God.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
1. The Word of God is life.
When you listen, absorb, and live by the Word, it becomes your breath, guards your soul and leads you to eternity.
2. True death is not physical, but spiritual.
Separation from God, life without Him – that is true death. But God offers a way back – through Christ.
3. Obedience is not the loss of freedom, but its beginning.
Living by the Word does not mean being bound. It means living in truth, where there is no fear, guilt, or death.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
People often fear physical death, but Jesus says, “He who is with Me has nothing to fear”.
His words give assurance that life does not end in the grave.
Everyone who holds to His Word has already passed from death to life.
CONCLUSION
Christ is the only one who conquered death.
And that is why, if you hold to His Word, death has no power over you. It may touch your body, but it cannot take your soul. Life that begins in God never ends.

Death frightens those who do not know Life. But those who know Christ already live in eternity – right now.

– Listen to your life: do you live by the Word or just hear it?
– Find at least one Word of Christ today and put it into action – in forgiveness, in kindness, in faith, in humility.
– Remind yourself: “The life within me is not mine, but God’s. I belong to Eternity”.
That is how the fear of death loses its power, and peace is born in the heart.
PRAYER
Jesus, thank You for having conquered death and restored my lost connection with the Father. You are the Life that knows no end. Help me not just hear Your Word, but live in it.
When I lose the point or fear the future, remind me that You have conquered death and that life and the future are in You.
Free my mind from fear and fill my heart with faith and love. May each day of mine be a step towards You, and may the life You gave me flow within me forever. Amen.
