WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
Solomon, the wisest king, demonstrates that no human wisdom, cunning, or plan can resist God's will. God is the source of truth and authority, and anything built against Him is doomed to failure.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
1. God's will is superior to human will.
People can make plans, seek advice, rely on their intellect and connections, but if this goes against God, everything will be in vain.
2. True wisdom is in harmony with God.
True intelligence begins with recognizing the Lord as the source of wisdom: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10).
3. Pride and resistance to God are useless.
Those who build their lives “on their own” or against God ultimately face destruction and downfall. But humility before God opens the way to true success and wisdom.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
The world often teaches: “rely on yourself”, “seek advice from the strong ones”, “be wiser than others”. But without God, all this is just an illusion of “power”. Only agreement and humility with God's will brings a solid foundation of life.

- Do not be fooled by human “guarantees” – hope in God is more reliable than any scheme or strategy.

Lord, help me not to rely on my own wisdom and other people’s advice more than on You. Teach me to seek Your will in all I do.
