LOVE

JOHN 1:14
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the Only Son from the Father”.

WHAT IS THIS VERSE ABOUT?
This verse is the heart of the entire Gospel.
It tells us about the greatest mystery – God became man. The Word of Which John wrote at the beginning became flesh – entered a human body, lived among us, experienced everything that man experiences: pain, joy, weariness, love.
God did not stay somewhere far away. He came Himself – to be near, to show what He truly is.
Through Jesus, people for the first time saw God not as a force, law, or symbol, but as a Person full of love, mercy, and truth.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS VERSE?
1. God has become close.
He does not watch from afar, but has entered into human life. In Jesus, God Himself came to people to be near – in joy, pain, loneliness, and illnesses.
2. Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God.
When we look at Christ, we see what God truly is: not judging, but loving; not distant, but merciful and saving.
3. God's true glory is in love and humility.
People expected a King in gold and power, but God revealed Himself in simplicity, in the body of an ordinary man, to free us not by force, but by the sacrifice of love.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Because it revolutionizes our understanding of God.
He is not somewhere “out there” – He is with us. He knows what it means to be human: to cry, to suffer, to rejoice, to believe. And that is exactly why we can trust Him. He is not just a Savior; He is the One who understands us completely.
CONCLUSION
Jesus is not just a part of history; He is God Himself having descended to man. He became flesh so that we could touch Him, see His love, and through Him come to know the Father. God did not remain in heaven; He entered the human heart – to save, heal, and fill with life everyone who believes.
FINAL THOUGHT
God does not hide out of reach — He became human so that everyone would understand: you are not alone. He is nearby. He is alive. And He is for you.
HOW TO USE IT TODAY
— When it seems to you that God is far away, remember: He has already come.
— Look at Jesus to see what God really is.
— Open your heart to Him: not formally and ritually, but truly, so that He may live within you, as He lived among people two thousand years ago.
— Strive to be like what Christ used to be: bring light, love, and truth where there is cold and darkness. Forgive, bless, help, and love.
PRAYER
Jesus! Thank You for Your great sacrifice of salvation and Your unconditional love.
Thank You that Your love was not left in words but embodied in life. Teach me to see You in every day, in simple things, in the people around me. Live within me so that I, too, can carry Your light and be a reflection of Your love.
I want it so much to be like You and learn to love as You love. Amen.
